Mihael Milunović

Milunović studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade and at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris under Vladimir Veličković and Marina Abramović. A Laureate of the Fondation Renoir, he worked in Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s former atelier.
His practice spans painting, drawing, photography, video, and installation. Through the manipulation of everyday symbols and situations, his work introduces tension — where familiarity turns into unease.
Milunović has presented over 50 solo exhibitions worldwide, including five museum shows, and participated in more than 80 group exhibitions across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

DC Art Foundation
Founded in 2021 by Diego Uribe and Cristina Chacón — international collectors and active board members of institutions including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, ICA Miami, MAMBO Bogotá, and Museo Reina Sofía.
The foundation runs an invitation-only residency in Coral Gables, Florida, supporting mid-career international artists. Mihael Milunović is the foundation’s 2026 artist in residence.

A landmark cultural venue in the heart of the Miami Design District. Originally the Moore Furniture Building (1921), the space now serves as a hub for contemporary art, design, and luxury programming — hosting exhibitions, private receptions, and a discerning international audience year-round.
