Inspired by Lady Di, Marie Antoinette, and his beloved country of birth, the French designed decided to stage his show at one of the exclusive and opulent lakes at the Palace of Versalles. The collection itself is a color representation of French style (and pride), mixing big proportion dresses with lingerie, jewelry and sexy cuts. All of them taken from Princess Diana, her personal style and fashionable years.
The tailoring was present mostly in menswear looks, where the designer played with layering. The 80s, the opulence, transparencies and accessories were key. Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner hit back the red runway, the one the A-List guests had to arrive by boat. You can always expect a Jacquemus show to be surrounded by nature, Victoria Beckham, and a notorious combination of art, minimalism and vitalism.
If there’s something to highlight from the show is the playful color combination, the stripes, sexiness, but at the same time how he has made a name for himself in the fashion industry and his own notable evolution, this time with an statement of royalty clothes and palaces.
